Salinko, an actor in Kumawood, told a shocking secret about a paternity dispute with his ex-girlfriend.
In his story, Salinko talked about a relationship in which he was tricked into thinking he was the father of a child who was not physically his.
After losing their first pregnancy, Salinko was excited about the idea of becoming a dad again. He talked about how he was there for his ex-lover throughout her pregnancy. As an extra measure, he let her stay in his fancy Kumasi home while he kept working in Accra.
But only four months after the baby was born, Salinko started to doubt his lover’s acts, which caused problems with who the child’s father was.
When he was working in Accra and got a scary call, it was from someone accusing him of stealing their lover and child from their home in Kumasi. Things got worse.
The news shocked Salinko, who told his girlfriend to leave his house while he went back to Accra to deal with it. He was shocked when the accused turned out to be another Kumawood actor that he knew.
When this shocking news came out, Salinko wanted an explanation from his ex-girlfriend. She admitted to having two boyfriends in front of her family. Even though he admitted it, Salinko chose to keep taking care of the child until he could pay for a DNA test.
“After I sent her packing, she brought in her father to apologize on her behalf. I told them I am already attached to the child, so I will continue taking care until he grows, and I can afford a DNA. But deep down, we all know I am not the father,” Salinko revealed in an interview on Adom TV‘s Okukuseku.
Following this experience, Salinko and his current wife have made a conscious decision to avoid having mutual friends and to exercise caution when forming new acquaintances.
