Shatta’s hard work is really paying off. His hot single, Taking Over which features Joint 77, Addi Self and Captan, has been received comprehensively by Ghanaians. He is getting massive thumbs up for that song alone.
Former Cantata actor and comedian, Reindorf Doe aka Sergeant Dee has acknowledged the hit song. In the song, Shatta Wale mentioned the name Sergeant Lee, and this part is the favourite of most lovers of the song.
In an exclusive interview with razzonline, Sergeant Dee reacted thus: “Chale, Shatta Wale is a dare devil. He is simply the best dancehall artiste. I love the Take Over song extremely well and the part where he mentioned Sergeant Lee is amazing. This is called creativity…i like that part because I’m also called Sergeant Dee so I love it.”
He continued, “I just can’t fathom why he was not nominated at this year’s VGMAs…i strongly think Charter House must settle every differences with Shatta so that next year he will be part of the scheme to make it more lively.”
I just hope the self-styled Dancehall will extend his supremacy beyond the scope of Ghana. He is definitely the man of the moment, no two ways about that.
