Todd Kohlhepp Crimes and Arrest
Kohlhepp’s crimes began in earnest in 2003 when he abducted and raped a 14-year-old girl at gunpoint. He was not caught for this crime until 2016 when he was arrested for a separate offense.
In 2016, he was arrested after police found a woman chained up in a storage container on his property. The woman, Kala Brown, had been missing for two months along with her boyfriend, Charles Carver. Police also found the remains of Carver and two other people on Kohlhepp’s property.
As the investigation unfolded, Kohlhepp confessed to the murders of seven people, including four victims from a motorcycle shop he had worked at in the early 2000s. He was sentenced to seven consecutive life sentences plus 60 years in prison.
