After High School, Draymond attended Michigan State University where he played college basketball for the Spartans. Green played Michigan State Spartans from 2008 to 2012 and led his team to two Big Ten Tournament championships and two NCAA Tournament appearances. He was also named to the Big Ten All-Defensive Team three times and the Big Ten All-Tournament Team twice.
He was selected 35th overall by the Golden State Warriors in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft.
