How do you mix Gyprock casting plaster?
Most plasters are mixed three parts of plaster to two parts of water by weight. The gypsum cements however are formulated to be used with less water to increase hardness and manufacturers instructions should be followed.

How thick is fibrous plaster?
The most common plasterboard thickness is 9.5mm and 12.5mm. For ceilings is used 9.5mm thick plasterboard and for walls – 12.5mm.

Which is a better finish plaster or plasterglass?
Plaster ceilings provide a flatter, even surface. This means plaster gives a superior finish as it takes paint uniformly – a real plus when you use a washable paint that accentuates imperfections (more on installation of a plasterglass ceiling).
